Sharon Dare Campbell

Sharon Dare Campbell, 75, of Vidor died Thursday, May 18th, 2023, at her residence. She was a longtime resident of Vidor and a member of North Main Church of Christ. Her favorite thing to do was to travel, she was also a collector of many things, especially rocks. She loved teaching, which was the passion of her life. Sharon loved the Lord and was a devout Christian. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. There will be a visitation Monday, May 22, 2023, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at 2:00 PM also at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Sharon is survived by her children Betty Mahan of Vidor, TX, Lee Gordon of Vidor, TX, Cheryl Lindsey of Houston, TX, Tanya Schindler of Weimar, TX, and Dennis Campbell of Murrieta, CA, her brother Warren Charleston of Vidor, TX, and her sister Lee Whiting of Greensboro, NC, as well as 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Warren Charleston and Betty Jane Forsythe, husband Victor Campbell, daughter Tracey Boudreaux, sister Martha Cox, and granddaughter Macelyn Gordon.
