Scott Edward Lakey

Scott E. Lakey, 45, of Vidor died Friday, January 25, 2008 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Vidor, he was a longtime resident of Rose City. Scott was a Pipefitter Foreman with Zachary Inc. and served his country in the US Army. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 31, 2008 at Memorial Funeral Home, with burial to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Brookeland Cemetery in Brookeland, TX. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at Memorial Funeral Home. Scott is survived by his wife Evy Lakey of Rose City, TX, sons Jeff Lakey currently serving in the US Army in Iraq, Jackie Lakey of Huffman, TX, daughters Angela Lakey of Northfield, VT, Melissa Lakey of Kingwood, TX, Skyla Lakey of Rose City, TX, parents Jack and Darlene Lakey of Rose City, TX, brother Sam Lakey of Kingwood, TX, sisters Cindy Austin of Vidor, TX, Connie Bajula of Pasadena, TX.
