Sandra Kay Ayo

Sandra K. Ayo, 66 of Hemphill, Texas died Tuesday, March 30th, 2021 at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. A native of Beaumont, TX, she grew up in Vidor and moved out to California in the 90's where she had lived up till a couple of years ago. Sandra and Jeff moved to Hemphill and achieved a lifelong dream to live at the lakes. She was a homemaker and enjoyed riding horses earlier in her life. Graveside services will begin at 12:00 pm Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Sandra was preceded in death by her son Lynn Armstrong. She is survived by her husband of 44 years Jeffrey Ayo of Hemphill, TX, daughters Sherry Barndt of Spicewood, TX and Codie Brooks of Litchfield Park, AZ, brother Larry Dale Garrison of Orange, TX, sisters Sharon Glover of Beaumont, CA and Elizabeth Krieger of Orange, CA, 4 grandsons Cameron and Chad Barndt, Gannon and Chase Brooks. In lieu of flower donations can be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
