Sandra Elaine Rhodes

Sandra Elaine Rhodes, 75, of Vidor, Texas, died Monday, June 28th, 2021 at Washington Regional Hospital in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was a longtime resident of Vidor and longtime member of Pine Forest Baptist Church in Vidor, Texas. She worked as a Special Education Aide for Pine Forest Elementary. Sandra enjoyed gardening, ceramics, cooking for her family and taking care of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her greatest joy was being surrounded by her family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. There will be a visitation at Memorial Funeral Home on Thursday, July 1st, 2021 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM followed by a funeral Friday, July 2nd, 2021 at Pine Forest Baptist Church at 10:00 AM, interment will be at Holly Grove Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Sandra is preceded in death by her granddaughter Makayla Hebert. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Larry Rhodes of Vidor, TX and her children Timothy Rhodes and wife Theresa of Vidor, TX, Sherrie Gilmore and husband Jim of Waco, TX, Katina Hebert and husband Darren of Spring, TX, Renee Kash of Bentonville, AR, Laurie Wood of League City, TX, and Amy Ritchey and husband Adam of Fayetteville, AR, and her brother Gilbert Dennis Jr. of Kountze, TX as well as 18 grandchildren 15 great grandchildren.
