Samuel Marvin Haire

Samuel M. “Skeeter” Haire, 63 of Vidor died Tuesday, August 26, 2003 at Dubuis Hospital in Beaumont, Texas. A native of Jasper, Texas he has lived in Vidor since 1968, and was employed by Bethlehem Steel, and Tejas Campers in Beaumont as a welder, he also attended South Park High School in Beaumont, Texas. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Funeral services will be Friday, August 29, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Home in Vidor, with entombment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor, Texas. Visitation will be Thursday, August 28, 2003 at 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home in Vidor, TX. Mr. Haire is survived by his wife of 10 years Doris Lewis Haire of Vidor, TX., sons, Damon Haire of Wimberly, TX., Thomas A Lewis of Orlando, FL., Michael Crate of South Bend, IN., and Matthew Crate of Mauriceville, TX., daughter, Tracey Messina of Nederland, TX., sister, Millie Anderson, and her husband Jerry of Beaumont, TX. Eight grandchildren, and numerous nieces, and nephews.
