Ryan Van Huis

Ryan Van Huis, 36, of Vidor died Thursday, May 21st, 2020 at home. A native of Burbank, IL he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Ryan worked as a machinist for many years. He enjoyed astronomy, science and computers. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 27, 2020 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 28, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Home. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Ryan is survived by his parents; Mark and Cynthia Van Huis of Mauriceville, TX 1 sister; Sarah Van Huis and her husband Aaron Jones of Mauricevile, 3 brothers; Jeremy Van Huis of Groves, TX, David Van Huis and Jacob Van Huis both of Vidor. He is also survived by 2 nieces; Julia Menard and Madaline Jones, 2 nephews; Lijiah Menard and Zachary Jones and longtime girlfriend; Jessica Hammerly and her two children Miley and Peyton along with numerous aunts and uncles. Ryan was preceded in death by his grandparents; Ed and Ruth Van Huis and Ron and Roseann Bal.
