Ruth Rushing

Ruth Rushing met the Lord on December 19, 2005. Born on October 16, 1925 in Dayton, Ohio, Ruth spent her life on Vidor, TX. Ruth was wed to Artie Rushing. Ruth was preceded in death by her sons, Robert “Bobby” McCabe, and Theodore “Teddy” McCabe. She is survived by her sons, Gary McCabe, and Mike Rushing both of Lakeview, TX., daughters, Joyce Simmons of Mauriceville, TX., Linda Fontenote of China, TX., and Anita Sanborn of Lakeview, TX., fifteen grandchildren, and seventeen great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Thursday, December 22, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Del Rose Cemetery in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 21, 2005 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. She will be missed by all.
