Ruth Freeman Wilson

Ruth F. Wilson, 87, of Vidor died Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at Vidor Manor Nursing Home in Vidor. A native of Bald Hill, TX., she has lived in Vidor since 1955, and was a homemaker. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 17, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home. Ruth was preceded in death by her first husband of 46 years Ben N. Freeman, and her second husband of 13 years J. D. Wilson. She is survived by her son Ben E. Freeman of Vidor, daughters Margaret Davis and husband Freddie of Lufkin, Jeanie Goodman and husband Calvin, and Tami Gabriele and husband Greg all of Vidor, sisters Eddie Lou Hundley of Austin, and Jean Thompson of Richland WA., twelve grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
