Russell Truett Granger

May 10, 1915 — July 25, 2008

Russell T. Granger, 93, of Vidor, went to be with the Lord, Friday July 25, 2008. Russell was a native of Orangefield, TX, he was a lifelong resident of Vidor. Russell served his country in the US Army and was a member of the Boilersmakers Local Union #450 for 65 years, worked and retired as an operator, and was a member of Eastgate United Pentecostal Church of Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 28, 2008 at Eastgate United Pentecostal Church in Vidor, with burial to follow at Mary Williams Cemetery in Orangefield, TX. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, July 27, 2008 at Memorial Fuenral Home of Vidor. He is survived by his daughters; Margaret Pate of Woodville, TX, Harriet Cary, Carole DeCuir both of Vidor, TX, Marsha Riddle of Hammond, LA, Linda Mansfield and Jeanie Pedigo both of Vidor, TX, brothers Lonnie Granger of Vidor, TX, and Wallace Granger of Call, TX, sisters Vera Beard of Vinton, LA, and Vernie Granger of California, 14 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 8 great great-grandchildren.
