Ruby Ochoa

Ruby Ochoa, 92 of Vidor died Tuesday, January 7th, 2020 at her residence in Vidor. A native of Beaumont, she was a lifelong resident of Vidor. Ruby was a member Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor and was a homemaker. She was active in her church and was a member of the Altar Society and taught CCD classes. Ruby was an avid gardener and enjoyer doing art work, but most of all she loved to spend time with her grandchildren. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm and a rosary at 7:00 pm Sunday, January 12, 2020 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 2:00 pm Monday, January 13, 2020 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Ruby was preceded in death by her husband Mino J. Ochoa and her parents Francisco and Juana Villafano. She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth Perez and her husband Charles of Beaumont, TX, son Patrick Ochoa of Vidor, TX, sisters Martha Archibeque of Seguin, TX, Connie Carreon of China, TX, Vivian Manriquez of Vidor, TX, brother Gabriel Villafano of Vidor, TX, 2 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
