Ruby Edward Seymour

Ruby E. Seymour, 98 of Vidor died Monday, January 14th, 2019 at his residence. A native of Florence, LA, he was a longtime resident of Houston before moving to Vidor 2 years ago. Ruby served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. He retired from the Corps of Engineers. Ruby enjoyed gardening and was an all around outdoorsman. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Ruby is survived by his son Roy Weaver Jr and his wife Melody of Vidor, TX, 2 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Ruby was preceded in death by his wife Helen of 52 years.
