Roy Edward Eastwood, Sr

Roy Edward Eastwood, Sr was born March 14th, 1941 in Jacksboro, Texas and passed away August 14th, 2013 in Beaumont, Texas. Roy lived in Vidor TX all his life and was retired from Elliott Construction Co. Roy lived his live his way and in the end, he did it his way. Roy married his high school sweetheart in 1959. At the time they got married, bets were made they wouldn't last 6 months, but 54 years later they are still together. Rusty will tell you it was no Ozzie & Harriet. Roy loved Nascar, football, being in his shop with his friends and family, his close companion Gabby, his dog and country music. He will be greatly missed and he wanted all his friends to know, this buds for you. Roy is survived by his wife Ginger (Rusty) Eastwood, and children Roy Jr & Tammie Eastwood, Randual Eastwood, Rowdy Eastwood, Ronald & Denaee Eastwood. Grandchildren: Tamela Eastwood, Mark & Krystal Chesser, Mathan Eastwood and Truett Eastwood. Great Grandchildren: Logan Safer, Weston Chesser and Lily Chesser. He is preceded in death by Daughter Roggie Eastwood, Brother Denton Eastwood and his parents Leona Evans & Truett Eastwood. Special thanks to Cheryl Parker Biddy, Mary Ann & Beamon Minton, Nicole his nurse and Harbor House Hospice. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Turning Point Church in Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Parkin Vidor. A gathering for family and friends will begin at 6:00 pm Friday, August 16, 2013 at Turning Point Church.
