Rose Mary Herring

Rose Mary Herring, 78, of Vidor died Monday, January 10th, 2022 at her residence in Vidor, Texas. She was a longtime resident of Vidor and a faithful member of Maple Crest Baptist Church. She loved working at the church and homemaking, staying busy and loved doing things for her kids and grandkids. She also took great joy in cooking and cherished spending time with her family. She loved traveling all over. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. There will be a visitation Thursday, January 13th, 2022 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. There will be a funeral service Friday, January 14th, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Interment will follow at Self Cemetery in Hornbeck, Louisiana. Rose is survived by her husband of 45 years Billie Herring of Vidor, TX, her children: Elizabeth Rose Tolson of Keatchi, LA, Robert Sanders, III of Lumberton, TX, Russell Joseph Sanders Sr. of Vidor, TX, Jonathan Glenn Herring of Vidor, TX, and Dayna Herring Smith of Orange, TX, and her brother Jay Colletti of Crandell, TX, as well as 18 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Angelo and Rose Colletti, and her son Rocky.
