Rose Chambers

Rose Chambers, 87 of Evadale, TX died Wednesday, February 7th, 2018 at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. A native of Woodville, TX, she was a longtime resident of Evadale. Rose was a homemaker her whole life and she enjoyed cooking, camping with friends and church activities, but most of all was being with her family and grandkids. She was a member of Central Baptist Church and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Friday, February 9, 2018 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 am Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Central Baptist Church in Evadale with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Rose was preceded in death by her husband E.J. Chambers Jr., parents TB and Kathryn Anderson, sisters Mildred Aucoin, Dorothy Proctor, Kathryn Fontenot. She is survived by her children Mike and Jackie Chambers of Houston, TX, Karen and Bill Gifford of Mont Belvieu, TX, Bryan and Dawn Chambers of Colmesneil, TX, Cheryl and Robert Bertrand of Evadale, TX, brother Glen Anderson of Woodville, TX, sister in law Geraldine Linza of Houston, TX, 10 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Central Baptist Church, Evadale, Texas.
