Rosalee Waits

Rosalee Waits, 87, of Port Arthur died Saturday, December 8, 2007 at Memorial City Hospital in Houston, TX. A native of DeRidder, Louisiana she lived in Vidor for 28 years before moving to Port Arthur four years ago. She was a homemaker, wife, mother, and a faithful church follower. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 10, 2007 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 9, 2007 at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Quitman B. Waits, brother Jack McCollough, and sister Gladys Worthem. She is survived by her sons Donald Waits of Quitman, LA., R C Waits of Friendswood, TX., and David Waits of Saraland, AL., daughters Hazel Thibodeaux of Nederland, and Jeanette Winfrey of Vidor, brother Clyde McCollough of San Angelo, TX., sister Minnie Odem of Las Vegas, NV., twelve grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, and 11/2 great-great grandchildren.
