Ron H. Eaves, 70, of Vidor, TX died Sunday, April 29th, 2018 at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont, TX. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and served during the Vietnam war and a member of Pecan Acres Baptist Church. He retired from the City of Beaumont as a locksmith and maintenance engineer. Ron enjoyed working on cars and doing classic restorations. He also was a carpenter and built his own home in 1979 but what Ron especially enjoyed was spending quality time with his family and friends. Visitation will be Monday, April 30, 2018 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Pecan Acres Baptist Church with interment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Ron is survived by his loving wife of 49 years; Frances Eaves, 2 sons; Vincent Eaves and his wife Danielle of Fannett, TX and Brandon Eaves and his wife Christie of Magnolia, TX, 4 grandchildren; Morgan, Dustin, Caleb and Tanner Eaves and 1 great grandchild; Hayze Thompson. Ron is also survived by 2 brothers; Jimmy Eaves of Vidor and Russell Eaves of Mill Creek, TX.
