Ronald Dale Waits, Sr.

Ronald Waits, 76, of Vidor died Thursday, October 4, 2012 at North Cypress Medical Center in Cypress, Texas. A native of Georgetown, OH., he has lived in Vidor for 30 years and was a retired truck driver with Petrolane. Ronald served his country in the United States Army. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm on Monday, October 8, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with cremation to follow at Haven of Rest Crematory in Orange, Texas. Ronald was preceded in death by his brothers Arthur Earl Waits, Charles Vernon Waits, sister Norma Jean Cox, father Arthur Waits, mother Ruby Barr, and step-mother Mary Bingaman Waits. Ronald is survived by his girlfriend Jody Sollerder of Vidor, son Ronald Dale Waits, Jr of Taylorsville, NC., daughters Susan Waits Ramirez and husband Fidel of Ramona, CA., and Terrie “TJ” Waits of Vidor, brothers Bud Waits of Mount Orab, OH., and Terry Jo Waits of Williamsburg, OH., sisters Janice Waits Pettit of Jamestown, OH., and Cathie Waits Strooe of Mount Orab, OH., and nine grandchildren.
