Roland 'Chief' Eugene Dossett

Roland Dossett, 93, of Vidor died Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at his residence. A native of Moselle, MS, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Roland served his country in the US Army and retired from the US Navy. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, June 23, 2012 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Friday, June 22, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Roland is survived by his wife Gloria Dossett of Vidor, TX, sons Kenneth Dossett of Bartelville, OK, and Allen Dossett of Natchez, MS, sister Vera, 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
