Rogers Manriquez

Rogers Manriquez, 76, of Vidor, TX died Sunday, April 30th, 2017 in Beaumont. A native of Beaumont, TX he was a longtime resident of Vidor who enjoyed traveling and Bar-B-Queing but especially spending time with his family. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourded Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus Counsel #5789 of Vidor. Visitation will be Thursday, May 4, 2017 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor with a Rosary service at 7:00 p.m.. A funeral mass will be Friday, May 5, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with interment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Rogers is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Vivian Manriquez, 1 daughter; Felicia Manriquez of Vidor, 1 son; Roger Demitri Manriquez of Austin, TX, 2 grandchildren; Jay Bishop IV and Nacole Cassidy and 1 great grandson; Carson Cassidy. He is also survived by 5 brothers; Pete Manriquez, Johnny Manriquez, Ignacio Manriquez, Anthony Manriquez and Jessie Manriquez, and 3 sisters; Florence Medina, Carmen Harris and Delores Lopez. Rogers was preceded in death by his parents; Sam and Frances Manriquez, 1 brother; Phillip Manriquez and 2 sisters; Martha Shannon and Regina Ray.
