Rodney Leon Spoonemore

Rodney L. Spoonemore, 46, of Vidor died Saturday February 1, 2003 at UTMB in Galveston, Texas. A native of Beaumont, Texas, he was a lifelong residence of Vidor. He was a pipefitter with the Local Union #195. Rodney served his country in the U.S. Navy. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday February 4, 2003 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Del-Rose Cemetery in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Monday February 3, 2003 at the funeral home. He is survived by his wife Lois Spoonemore of Vidor, TX., parents: Winferd and Mildred Carr of Vidor, TX., sons: Bobby Spoonemore of Bridge City, TX., Brandon Spoonemore of Vidor, TX., stepson: Kendrick Metts of Nederland, TX., stepdaughter: Stephanie Metts in the U.S. Air Force, sister: Karen Spoonemore of Vidor, TX., nephew: Wendale Boudreaux of Vidor, TX., and 3 grandchildren
