Rocky Mark Herring

Rocky Herring, 51, of Vidor died Sunday, December 28, 2008 at the Burn and Trauma Center in Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. A native of Beaumont, TX, he was a long time resident of Vidor. Rocky was a self-employed contractor and was a member of Maplecrest Baptist Church in Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 5, 2009 at First Baptist Church in Vidor, under the direction of Memorial Funeral home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, January 4, 2009 at Memorial funeral Home. Rocky was preceded in death by his mother Shelia Warlick. He is survived by his wife Theresa Herring of Vidor, TX, daughter Roshanna Hairston and her husband Brody of Virginia Beach, VA, father Billy Herring of Vidor, TX, brother Jonathan Herring of Vidor, TX, sister Dayna Smith of Orange, TX, grandfather Jack Johnson of Nederland, TX, grandchildren Karlie and Darren Hairston.
