Robert Trousdale Williams

Robert T. Williams, 77, of Vidor died Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at his residence. A native of New Gulf, TX., he has lived in Vidor since 1961, and was a utilities supervisor with Goodyear Tire and Rubber Plant in Beaumont. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, December 30, 2011 at Pine Forest Baptist Church in Vidor under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Haven of Rest Cemetery in Beaumont. Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at Pine Forest Baptist Church in Vidor. Robert was preceded in death by his parents James and Reba Williams, and his brother Ralph Williams. He is survived by his wife Rose Williams, sons David Williams and wife Brenda of Hemphill, Danny Lee Williams and wife Bridget of Bartonville, TX., daughter Robin Dawn Williams Shafer and husband Eugene of Vidor, brothers Billie R. Williams and wife Nevis of Wharton, Thomas C. Williams and wife Georgia of Fredericksburg, TX., sister Reba Ann Durham of Wharton, eleven grandchildren: Jeremy Williams and wife Stefanie, Benjamin Williams and wife Casey, Adam Shafer and wife Lindsey, Katie Hoover and husband Jesse, Kyndal Stack and husband Jake, Gina May and husband Aaron, Cody Williams, Becca Williams, Abigail Williams, Jhony Williams, and Micah Williams, five great grandchildren: Triston, Austin, Hudson, Jett, and Truett.
