Robert Ray Hammonds

Robert Ray Hammonds, 62, of Vidor, TX died Tuesday, May 19th, 2020 at Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. Robert was a native of Beaumont and a longtime resident of Vidor. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and cooking on the bar-b-que but he especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Robert is survived by his 1 daughter; Chelsea Viator and her husband Derrick of Baytown, TX, 3 sons; Robert Bradford, Dillion Ray Hammonds, and Matthew Colton Hammonds all of Vidor, 2 grandchildren; Jordan Bradley Hammonds and Raylee Kate Viator. He is also survived by 2 sisters; Denise Richards and Michele Gray and 2 brothers; Jeff Hammonds and Jesse Hammonds. Robert was preceded in death by his loving wife of 42 years; Carla Beth Hammonds, and his parents; Bobby and Helen Hammonds. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor.
