Robert Lynn Plaia

Robert L. Plaia, 70, of Mauriceville died Saturday, April 22nd, 2017 at his residence. A native of Jasper, TX, he was a longtime resident of Vidor and Mauriceville. Robert was a member of Silver Oaks Baptist Church in Mauriceville and the Eagles Lodge. He was a very talented artist and loved his granddaughters. Visitation will begin at 6:00pm Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at The Cemetery in Mauriceville. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at Silver Oaks Baptist Church. Robert was preceded in death by his wife Seleta Plaia. He is survived by his survived by his daughter Amy Murdock of Mauriceville, TX, brother Jerry Bryant of Lumberton, TX, 2 granddaughters Mackenzie and Madison Murdock, best buddy Troy Reich of Vidor, TX and his babies (dogs) - Ava, Tori, and Lucy.
