Ronald Wayne Kennon, 62, of Vidor, passed away on Monday, September 23rd, 2024, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. A lifelong resident of Vidor, Ronald was known for his deep love of family and fully embraced his role as Pop-Pop, cherishing every moment with his grandchildren. He was an avid fan of sports, especially when it came to cheering on his beloved Dallas Cowboys. Music was a constant in his life, with ACDC and Elvis Presley being among his favorites. He also enjoyed fishing, finding peace in the simplicity of being outdoors.
Ronald is survived by his daughter, Emalee Butler and husband Jeff of Shreveport, LA; his son, Tyler Kennon and fiancée Gabby of Lafayette, LA; his brothers, Robert Kennon and Rusty Kennon and wife Janie; and his grandchildren, Mathis Butler and Beckham Kennon. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Bobbie Kennon, and his sister, Melissa Trinkle.
In accordance with Ronald’s wishes, there will be no formal celebration of life. Instead, he asked that his family spend time together and share their fondest memories of him.
