Robert K. Shivers

Robert K. Shivers, 68, of Vidor died Friday, March 14, 2014 in Vidor. Robert was a native of Winnsboro, LA, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Robert worked for County and State Police Departments, before retiring with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served his country in the US Air Force. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Vidor. A gathering for family and friends will begin at 6:00 pm Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Robert survived by his wife Pam Shivers of Vidor, TX, sons Kenneth 'Chip' Shivers of Vidor, TX, and Michael Shivers of Houston, TX, sister Rebecca Shivers Sellers of Vidor, TX and 8 grandchildren
