Robert Jeff Jackson Jr.

Robert Jeff Jackson Jr. was born October 29, 1958 in Beaumont, Texas. He went to his heavenly home on Thursday November 12, 2020 in Abilene, Texas at the age of 62. Robert was a special person who did not let his challenges stop him. He loved life and enjoyed having a good time. He liked going to church and singing, some of his favorites were Amazing Grace, The Old Rugged Cross and At the Cross. He enjoyed parties, trips and cruises. Robert enjoyed working at Quail Valley Utility Water District for several years. Robert is survived by 3 sisters, Linda Sparks and husband Chester, Sheila Bush and husband Mike and Shelly Luman and husband Redell. Multiple nieces and nephews also survive him. His parents, R.J. Jackson and Addie Ruth Jackson and nephews, Edward Robert Bush and Ethan Lane Schreiner preceded him in death. A memorial will be held on Saturday November 21, 2020 at 2PM at Bivins Cemetery, Merryville La. under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Some very special people were involved in Roberts care over the years. Two of them were Dina Martinez and Vonda Holmes. They accepted Robert like he was one of their children. He loved them very much. The last few years he was with Vonda full time. The time came when he needed more care and we moved him to Abilene TX so we could check on him more.
