Robert Fruge

Robert Fruge, 74, of Vidor died Sunday, January 24th, 2016 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Lake Charles, LA, he was a longtime resident of both Vidor and Hemphill. Robert was a retired Superintendent for Texas Metal Work in Beaumont where he worked for 28 years. He was a active member of Bethany Baptist Church in Milam, TX and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Robert was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Visitation will begin at 12:00 pm and funeral services at 2:00 pm Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Robert was preceded in death by his wife Sue Fruge. He is survived by his son Robert Fruge and his wife Terri of Port Neches, TX, daughter Laura Daniel of Vidor, TX,
sisters Margaret Young of West Lake, LA, Adline Weinder of Iowa, LA and Barbara Richard Jennings, LA, 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
