Robert Frank Durmon

Robert "Bob" Durmon, 79 died Friday, October 16th, 2015 at home surrounded by his loving family. A native of McGee, Arkansas, Bob was a longtime resident of Rose City, Texas who liked the outdoors, working in his garden and raising animals. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Shirley Durmon, daughter, Vickie Echols and husband David of Vidor, son, Ricky Durmon and wife Pat of Vidor, daughter Brenda Hess and husband Charles of Cameron, Texas, and daughter, Patricia Stebbins and husband Kenny of Groves, Texas. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, 3 brothers, Jerry, David, and James Durmon, and 1 sister, Dean Rossi. He was preceded in death by his parents, Noal and Ruby Durmon, 2 sisters, Dot Sowel and Doris Boutwell. Visitation will be Monday, October 19, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home with interment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park.
