Robert Edd Dean

Robert Edd Dean, 81, of Vidor died Friday, July 4 2014. He was born 10/27/1932 to Fred and Essie Dean of Spurger, TX. Robert was proceeded in death by his parents and all five of his siblings. He retired from Mobil Chemical as a millright and will be remembered by many for his 20+ years of coaching Little League Baseball and his passion for dancing, especially square dancing. Robert is survived by his children Sandy Dinsmore of Beaumont, Robert Dean and his wife Sharie of Vidor, David Dean and his wife Pam of Nederland, Danny Dean of Vidor, Doug Dean and wife Becky of Kirbyville, Laurie Smith and fiance Larry Hanks of Vidor, 10 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, July 8 2014 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with interment to follow at 1:00pm at Antioch Cemetery in Spurger, TX. A gathering for family and friends will begin at 6:00 pm Monday, July 7, 2014 at Memorial Funeral Home.
