Robert Carroll Littrell

Robert Carroll Littrell, 77, of Vidor died Tuesday, October 4th, 2016 at his Vidor residence. A native of Hopkins County, Texas, he is a longtime resident of Vidor. Robert retired from the Beaumont Police Department after 32 years of service and served his country in the US Navy. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who spent his life taking care of his family. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Robert is preceded in death by his wife Lydia Littrell and son Robert "Budha" Littrell. He is survived by his daughter Kelley Childs of Vidor, TX, sister Lela Adams of Arlington, TX, 3 grandsons Anthony "Bo" Childs and his wife Bekka, James Littrell, Blake Childs and his wife Lyndsey, 2 great granddaughters Brynnley and Blakelynn Childs. Family and friends will get together at 4635 Monroe Street in Vidor Saturday, October 8, 2016 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm to celebrate Robert's life.
