Robert "Bobby" Eugene Reid

Robert E. Reid, 73, of Vidor died Sunday, July 17th, 2016 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas. A native of Beaumont, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Robert worked on air conditioning for Sabine River Works Dupont where he retired after 37 years. He was a member of Pine Forest Baptist Church in Vidor. Robert owned a ranch where he enjoyed raising cows. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, July 21, 2016 at Pine Forest Baptist Church, with burial to Follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Pine Forest Baptist Church. Robert was preceded in death by his father Cecil Reid. He is survived by his wife of 17 years Neva Reid of Vidor, TX, daughters Tammy Jean Reid of Vidor, TX, sons William Christopher Reid and his wife Julie of Vidor, TX, James Byron Wade and his wife Mary of Baytown, Texas, John Brent Wade and his wife Courtney of Napa Valley, CA, mother Dorothia Alice Reid of Vidor, TX, brother Kenneth Wayne Reid and his wife Beverly of Nederland, TX, sisters Shirley Rae Johnson and her husband Charles of Vidor, TX, Beverly Ann Johnson and her husband Timothy of Kingwood, TX, 4 grandchildren Brittany Reid, Sheldon Reid, Katilyn Ashleigh Reid and Emily Brooke Wade.
