Robert "Bob" Lee Jackson Sr.

Robert "Bob" Lee Jackson Sr., 75 of Vidor died Thursday, August 22nd, 2019 at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. A native of Portsmouth, Ohio, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Bob was a active member and a deacon at Grace Community Church in Vidor. He was retired from North Star Steel as a Mill Wright after 27 years. Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, and racing, he also enjoyed collecting candles. He never meet a stranger, you could have just met Bob, but he would treat you like his best friend. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, August 28,2019 at Memorial Funeral Home. Bob is survived by his daughters Brenda Lee Montgomery of Columbus, Ohio, Lynda Marshall of Hallsvill, TX, Elizabeth Jensen of Eau Claire, WI, sons Jason Jackson of Beaumont, TX and John Thomas Brady of Frisco, TX, sister Debbie Pennington of Lake Tahoe, CA, 16 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
