Robert "Bob" Curtis Wilder

Bob Wilder, 90, of Vidor died Monday, August 22nd, 2016 at his Vidor residence. A native of Omaha, Nebraska, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Bob was a machinist for Caffey's Automotive Service for over 50 years and was an avid woodworker for over 35 years. He served in country in the US Navy aboard th U.S.S. Bogue during WWII. Cremation arrangements were intrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Memorial Funeral Home. Bob is survived by his son Robert "Bobby" Curtis Wilder Jr., daughters Linda Mayea, Barbara Johnson and Gale Tompkins all of Vidor, TX, sister Ruth Schroder of Oklahoma, brother Jimmy Wilder of Conroe, TX, and Jack Wilder of South Carolina, 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren and one more great great grandchild on the way.
