Robert B. Owens, 54, of Vidor died Monday, November 4, 2002 at his residence. A native of Leesburg, FL he lived in Vidor since 1977 a was a retired master glassman for Beaumont Glass Company. He was also a US Army veteran. Funeral services are 2pm Thursday, November 7, 2002 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor with a military burial to follow at Williamson Cemetery in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 12 noon on Wednesday at the funeral home. He is survived by his wife Yvonne Owens; sons, Steven Christopher of Orange, Greg Thompson of Louisiana, John Thompson of Gulfshore, AL; daughters, Judy Holder of Vidor, Debbie Williams of Monroe, GA; Vickie Mayhugh of Kemp, TX; Gerri Nerheim of Lake Charles, LA; Anna Burks of DeRidder, LA; Beth Wright of Vidor, Cecelia Carroll of Burkeville, Nimmie Rivero of Vidor and Amber Thornhill of San Antonio; Brothers, J.T. Owens of Vidor, William Owens of Bridgeport, FL, Richard Owens of Seattle, WA, Oscar Owens of Flintville, TN, Danny Owens of Leesburg, FL, Jimmy Owens of Miami, FL; Sisters, Lorraine Ponds and Jean Howard both of Spartonburg, NC. Bunnie Owen of Utah 22 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren
