Robert Allen Carter

Robert A. Carter, 65, of Vidor died Monday, September 22, 2008 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, TX. A lifelong member of Vidor, he was a retired papermaker after 38 years with Eastex Paper Mill. Graveside services will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at Williamson Cemetery in Vidor under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Robert is survived by his wife of 39 years Betty Carter of Vidor, daughters Melissa Howard of Evadale, Sonja Marks and Delia Carter both of Vidor, sister Gayle Jones of Beaumont, and five grandchildren.
