Richard Wayne Ledbetter

Richard W. Ledbetter, 69, of Vidor, TX died Saturday, February 3rd, 2018 at home. A native of Ranger, TX Richard was a longtime resident of Vidor who enjoyed hunting, fishing and was an avid knife collector. He served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam and retired as a Boilermaker in the petroleum industry after 32 years. Graveside services will be Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at 12:30 p.m. at Houston National Cemetery, Houston, TX. Richard is survived by his wife of 21 years; Bessie Ledbetter, 3 daughters; Christie Hoelscher of Ballenger, TX, Emily Ledbetter of Vidor and Bethany Ledbetter also of Vidor, 4 sons; Chad Wayne Ledbetter and Clifton Ledbetter both of Longview, TX, Christopher Ledbetter and Christopher "Mack" Ledbetter both of Vidor. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 2 brothers; Bill Ledbetter and Bob Ledbetter. Richard was preceded in death by his parents; Clifton and Wanda Ledbetter, 2 daughters; April and Jennifer Ledbetter and 2 brothers; Mike Ledbetter and Gary Ledbetter.
