Richard Lee Longbottom

Richard L. Longbottom, 87 of Vidor died Monday, November 18th, 2019 at his residence. A native of Ft. Worth, TX, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Richard was a member of St Stephen's Episcopal Church in Beaumont, TX. He was a retired teacher from VISD and taught in Wyoming before coming to Texas. Richard was also a insurance agent. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am Friday, November 22, 2019 at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church. Richard is survived by his sons Michael Longbottom of Casper, WY, David Longbottom of Glenn Rose, TX and Marty Longbottom of Vidor, TX, 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital www.stjude.org.
