R.G. "Bobby" Molandes Sr.

Bobby Molandes, 77, of Vidor died Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Hermann Memorial Hospital in Houston. A native of Nacogdoches, Texas, he was a longtime Vidor resident. Bobby was owner/operator of United Vision Logistics. He loved fishing, hunting, carpentry, mechanics and was a jack of all trades. Bobby never meet a stranger and enjoyed talking to people. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, September 1, 2016 at Laird Funeral Home in Nacogdoches, Texas with interment to follow at Bonaldo Cemetery in Nacogdoches. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents Ed and Dorothy Molandes, grandchildren Aaron and Lalaneya Creamer, Kalika Beard. He is survived by his wife of 36 years Rose Molandes of Vidor, TX, daughters Marilyn Jo Creamer and her husband Greg of Beaumont, TX, Pam Beard and her husband Danny of Beaumont, TX, Stacie Trahan and her husband Randy of LaBellle, TX, son Robbie Gene Molandes Jr. and his wife Laurie of Vidor, TX, Kevin Singleton and his wife Penny of Vidor, TX, brother Kennie Don Molanders and Ed Molanders Jr., sister Patsy Bradshaw all of Vidor, TX, 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and faithful companion Shelby. In lieu of flower donation can be made to: St. Jude Children Research Hospital or Shriners Hospital for Children.
