Revel Thomas Brown Sr.

Revel T. Brown Sr., 87 of Vidor died Wednesday, June 28th, 2017 at his residence. A native of Gist, Kentucky, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Revel was a member of the Assembly of God in Mauriceville and was a member of the Carpenters Local Union #2007. He served his country in the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force during WWII and Korean War. Revel was an avid golfer and motorcyclist. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, July 2, 2017 at Memorial Funeral Home with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Revel is preceded in death by his parents William and Willena Brown, sons Revel Jr. and James Brown. He was survived by his wife of 30 yrs Lenora Brown of Vidor, TX, sons Robert Brown and wife Billie of Vidor, TX, Dennis Gonzales and wife Denise of San Antonio, TX, daughters Melissa Cortez of Vidor, TX, Priscilla Gonzales of Vidor, TX and Debbie Deeds of Camas, WA, 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
