Rebecca Ann Guidry, 59, of Vidor, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, September 19th, 2024. A longtime resident of Vidor, Rebecca was a dedicated member of Turning Point Church and cherished her faith.
Rebecca enjoyed simple pleasures like reading, playing games, and watching her favorite shows, including Family Feud, Jeopardy, and true crime murder mysteries. She was an avid Pokémon Go player and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandbabies, who she often called her greatest blessings. Rebecca also enjoyed shopping and could light up any room with her laughter and kind heart.
She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Mark Guidry, of Vidor, TX; her children: Scott Williams of Vidor, TX, Tiffany Duncan and husband Cam of Vidor, TX, and Matt Guidry and Sarah of Vidor, TX; and her cherished grandchildren: Skylar Williams, Korbyn Whitworth, Trace Duncan, Harper Duncan, Raia Williams, Drake Duncan, and Little Mark Guidry, all of Vidor, TX.
Rebecca is also survived by her brothers Wayne Honeycutt of Chireno, TX, Bryan Honeycutt of Angleton, TX, and Eddy Payne of Woden, TX, along with her sisters Glenda Payne Lucas of Woden, TX, and Hayley Bohler of Kountze, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Williams and Gail Payne, as well as her brothers Robby Payne and Glen David Payne.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Innovative Renal Care Kidney Center of Beaumont in honor of Rebecca’s memory.
