Rebecca "Becky" Smith

Becky Smith, 69 of Vidor died Tuesday, July 23rd, 2019 at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont, TX. A native of Port Arthur, TX, she was longtime resident of Vidor. Becky was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor and was the Floral manager at Market Basket in Vidor. She enjoyed collecting angels and shopping. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm and a rosary at 7:00 pm Thursday, July 25, 2019 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 2:00 pm Friday, July 26, 2019 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Becky is survived by her husband of 26 years J.D. Smith of Vidor, TX, son Michael Schroeder and step-son James Smith both of Vidor, TX, daughter Keely Shaw of Vidor, TX, brothers Jessie Gonzales of Bridge City, TX, Tony Gonzales of LaBelle, TX, Alfred Gonzales of Nederland, TX and 5 grandchildren.
