Reba G. Griffin

Reba G. Griffin, 82, of Vidor, TX died Thursday, April 18th, 2019 at home in Pflugerville, TX surrounded by her family. A native of Weirgate, TX she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Reba was member of the Eastern Star of Spurger, TX and loved doing needlework, embroidery, quilting and sewing but she especially loved her family and her english bulldog "Hemmingway". She was a very supportive wife to her husband while he served in the U.S. Air Force and was well loved by her family. Visitation will be Saturday, April 27, 2019 beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Wildwood United Methodist Church in Village Mills, TX with funeral services at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Williams Cemetery in Warren, TX. Reba is survived by 1 daughter; Lou Ann Parsonson and her husband Dan of New Oxford, PA, 1 son; James Waylon Griffin, Jr and his wife Sally of Pflugerville, TX, 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She is also survived by 7 sisters; Alta, Wanda, Betty, Peggy, Joyce, Dorothy, and Jimmy Ruth, and 1 brother; Charlie. Reba was preceded in death by her husband; James Waylon Griffin, and 3 brothers; James, Melvin and Ronnie.
