Raymond Eugene Jasper

Raymond E. Jasper, 80, of Vidor died Thursday, October 12, 2006 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas. A lifelong resident of Vidor, he was a retired iron worker with Local #125. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during World War II, and was a proud member of the Vidor and Pine Forest Masonic Lodges. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 16, 2006 at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Vidor, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 15, 2006 at Memorial Funeral Home. Raymond was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years Annie Marie Jasper. He is survived by his sons Raymond E. Jasper, and Jerome E. Jasper both of Vidor, and Moroni L. Jasper of Mauriceville, daughters Glenda Cook, and Marcia Hatch both of Vidor, sister Joeann Herrsher of Bountiful, UT., fifteen grandchildren, and nineteen great grandchildren.
