Raymond E. Campbell, 84, of Vidor died Sunday August 31, 2003 at his residence in Vidor. A native of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, he lived in Vidor since 1957. Raymond was a career member of OCAW were he was a retired process operator for Union Oil. He served his country in the Army Air Corps. During WW II. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday September 5, 2003 at Pecan Acres Baptist Church in Vidor, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Thursday September 4, 2003 at the funeral home. Raymond is survived by his wife of 57 years Johnnie Campbell of Vidor, TX., sons: Bruce Campbell of Beaumont, TX., Lloyd Campbell and his wife Mary of Baytown, TX., daughter: Carolyn Bailey and her husband Phillip of Vidor, TX., brothers: Clinton Campbell of Western United States, Jimmy Campbell of Tyler, TX., sisters: Ann Sullivan of Clute, TX., Mary Ellen Ringo of Fritch, TX., Billie Langley of Spiro, OK., and 6 grandchildren: Travis Campbell, Aaron Campbell, Adina Campbell, Colby Bailey, Chase Bailey, Ciara Bailey.
