Raymond “Cowboy” Anderson, 93, of Vidor died Wednesday, October 25, 2006 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas. A longtime resident of the Golden Triangle, he was a retired heavy equipment operator after 40+ years of faithful service with Local #450. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 28, 2006 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, October 27, 2006 at Memorial Funeral Home. Cowboy is survived by his son Wesley Ray Anderson of Jasper, step-son Jerry Lynn Treadway of Lumberton, daughters Betty Lawhon, Verna Lee Sonnier, and Cecil Bowers all of Vidor, step-daughter Glenda Thompson of Bridge City, thirteen grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.
