Ray Post, 79, of Vidor died Sunday, November 18, 2012 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. Ray was a native of Beaumont, TX, he was a lifelong resident of Vidor. Ray was a retired process operator at Texaco Refinery in Port Arthur and was a member of First Baptist Church in Vidor. He served his country in the US Army. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at First Baptist Church in Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at First Baptist Church. Ray was preceded in death by his parents Ray and Lillian Post and brother Wayne Post. He is survived by his wife Shirley Post, sons David Post and his wife Carol of Orange, TX, Jay Post and his wife Tammy of Vidor, TX, daughters Cindy Brown and her husband Don of Bakersfield, CA, Rhonda Powell and her husband Jim of Vidor, TX, brothers Charles Post of Liberty, TX, Larry and George Post both of Wildwood, TX, 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
