Ralph “Buck” Pryne, 76, of Vidor died Sunday, December 11, 2005 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Beaumont, he was a lifelong resident of Vidor. Buck retired after 40 years as a Master Repairman with Gulf States Utilities and served his country during the Korean Conflict in the U.S. Navy. Buck was a member of First Baptist Church of Vidor and a member of the Masonic Lodges Bridge City # 1345, Vidor #1286, and Madion #126. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 15, 2005 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will be held from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 14, 2005 at Memorial Funeral Home. Buck is survived by his wife Paula Pryne of Vidor, TX, daughters: Carol Fontenot and her husband David of Sulphur, LA, Vicki McMillian and her husband Joe of Absecon, NJ, brother: William “Bill” Pryne of Lumberton, TX, sisters: Betty Alverson of Nederland, TX, Jimmie Pryne of Beaumont, TX, grandchildren: Christopher Fontenot, Aaron McMillian and Lauren McMillian.
