Precious Aline Godeaux

Aline Godeaux, 90, of Vidor died Monday, January 7, 2013 at Oakwood Manor Nursing Home in Vidor. A native of Ben Hur, AR, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. In the 1940's her and her sisters worked in the shipyards in California while her husband and brother were off fighting in WWII. She was a clerk for Gibson and Wal-Mart in Vidor. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor. Cremation Arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, with a gathering of family and friends starting at 9:00 am. Aline is survived by 4 sons Jerry Godeaux of Vidor, TX, Tommy Godeaux of Lumberton, TX, Bobby Godeaux of Vidor, JR Godeaux of Vidor, 1 daughter Dianne Brahan of Vidor, TX, 1 brother Ben Hankins of Excelsior Springs, MO, 1 sister Virginia Lee of Knotts Island, NC, 22 Grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
