Phillip Everette Maynard

Phillip Everette Maynard, 63, of Orange, passed away at his home on Friday, October 18th, 2024. A longtime resident of Vidor, Phillip proudly served his country with the U.S. Marines. His work ethic and mechanical skills led him to a career as a manager and mechanic at Meineke Muffler Shop in Pasadena, TX.

Phillip had a passion for reading, especially the western novels of Louis L'Amour. He loved spending time outdoors, whether it was fishing or simply enjoying nature, but his greatest joy came from being with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Cindi Maynard of Orange, TX, and his two sons, Clint Maynard and wife Ida of Orange, TX, and Scott Maynard of Orange, TX. Phillip was a proud grandfather to David Maynard, Serenity Maynard, James Maynard, Karma Maynard, and Peyton Maynard.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Scottie and Audrey Maynard.

Phillip will be remembered for his loyalty, love of family, and devotion to his craft and country. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
